Brand Identity and Print Systems Studio, Provo Utah

Layered Carefully, Aligned Exactly, Printed True.

Andrew Beesley Design LLC is a brand identity and print design studio working from its paste-up bench at 3419 Foothill Dr, Provo, 84604-4885, United States. We build logos, packaging and print systems that hold their alignment from the first sketch to the last press sheet. Every project is layered carefully, checked against the registration marks, and sent to production only when the fit is exact.

The Studio Bench

A paste-up practice for brands that need to survive production

Andrew Beesley Design LLC runs a small, deliberate studio. We treat every identity as a layered paste-up: a base sheet of strategy, acetate overlays of form and color, and a final art layer that has been checked against crop marks before it leaves the table. That discipline is why our Logo and Identity Systems work holds together across a business card, a shipping carton and a storefront sign without drifting out of alignment.

Our clients are local makers, food producers, workshops and growing teams across Utah and beyond. They arrive with a good product and a scattered look, and they leave with a system they can hand to any printer. We work in real materials: card stock, corrugated board, vinyl, ink and thread. We care about how a Packaging Design dieline folds, how a Print Collateral Systems suite stacks in a tray, and how a sign reads from across a parking lot at dusk.

The studio is deliberately narrow in scope and deep in craft. We do not chase every format. We build durable, practical, beautiful identities, and we stay with a client through the reprints, the label updates and the seasonal refreshes. When a brand grows, the overlay sheets grow with it, because we designed them to be layered from the start.

Every project begins on the bench with a loupe, a straightedge and a stack of Brand Guideline Books from past work. We look at what has held up and what has not. Then we plan the new overlays so the next reprint is easier than the last one. That is the whole promise of the paste-up approach: nothing is redrawn from scratch if a clean overlay will do the work.

Overlay Sheet Strip — Six Services on the Pegs

The six acetates we pin for every brand

Each sheet is a service. Each service is a layer. Hung at staggered heights on the steel peg strip, they show how a single identity is assembled from parts that must align.

Logo and Identity Systems

We draw the core mark, then build the full family: horizontal lockups, stacked lockups, a monogram, clear-space rules and a color ladder that survives one-color printing. The system ships as vector masters and a plain-language usage sheet.

Packaging Design

From label wraps to structural cartons, we prepare dielines that printers accept and that fill lines can run. Nutrition panels, batch codes and recyclable callouts are set as part of the artwork rather than added on later.

Print Collateral Systems

Business cards, letterheads, folders, order pads, hang tags and swing tickets built as one coordinated suite. Consistent margins and a shared grid mean every new piece drops into place without a redesign.

Signage and Wayfinding

Exterior panels, window vinyl, directory boards and interior room plaques planned as a legible sequence. We size type for real viewing distances and test contrast against the surfaces the sign will actually sit on.

Brand Guideline Books

A bound reference that a team can follow without calling the studio for every detail. Logo rules, type scales, color formulas, photography direction and file naming live in one clear, indexed document.

Refresh and Reprint Support

When a product line changes, we update the overlays rather than rebuild the brand. New flavors, new sizes, new addresses and new claims are pressed cleanly onto the existing system and returned press-ready.

How the Overlays Stack

A five-stage paste-up process

Every engagement moves through the same bench stages, so you always know what is on the table and what comes next.

01

Bench review

We walk through your current materials, your product, your audience and your print reality. This is the base sheet of the paste-up and it sets the grid for everything else.

02

Mark and direction

We sketch the core identity directions and pin them side by side under the loupe, testing each against a card, a carton and a sign before choosing a path.

03

Overlay build

Color, type and layout are layered onto the chosen direction. We lock margins, define the type scale and register every element to the same baseline grid.

04

Final art and trim

Crop marks, bleed and dielines are checked line by line. We export press-ready files and a proof set so your printer has zero guesswork at the press.

05

Reprint and refresh

The system is filed with the studio. When you need a new label, a new size or a seasonal run, we update the overlay instead of redrawing the brand.

Materials, methods and the work we take on

The studio is set up for practical, production-ready design. We keep a working knowledge of the processes our clients actually order.

Offset and digital printing

We prepare files for both sheet-fed offset and short-run digital, with color formulas matched to house stocks and a proofing step before every run.

Packaging and labels

Wrap labels, pressure-sensitive stickers, folding cartons and pouches. We build dielines that converters accept and that fill lines can run at speed.

Signage fabrication

Rigid panels, window vinyl, ACM board and dimensional letters. We supply cut-ready vector art and mounting notes for your fabricator.

Food and beverage

Label systems for sauces, baked goods, coffee, honey and packaged goods, including compliant nutrition and ingredient panels set into the artwork.

Retail and market stalls

Price cards, banners, table runners and tote bags that make a small booth read clearly from the aisle while staying on-brand.

Trades and workshops

Workwear marks, vehicle graphics, quote forms and invoice templates for service teams that need a tidy, consistent look every day.

A brand is not finished when the logo looks good on screen. It is finished when the label folds, the sign reads and the reprint matches the original without a single shift.

Questions from the bench

You receive vector masters, press-ready export files, a written usage sheet and a filed copy of the full system held by the studio for future reprints and refreshes.

Yes. We work remotely with makers and teams across the United States and ship files to any printer or fabricator you choose. Reviews happen over shared proofs and scheduled calls.

A complete identity system with packaging and collateral usually runs four to eight weeks depending on scope, print schedules and how quickly decisions are confirmed.

Often, yes. We audit the existing art, keep what is working and rebuild the weak overlays so the result is consistent without discarding the equity you already have.
